The Balja series is hand-blown at Skrufs Glassworks in Småland and is created through blown glass. This means that the entire glass is created in the glassworks and has no post-processing such as blasting or grinding. Blown glass is a craft where each glass is unique, which means that the height can vary.

Skrufs Glasbruk is a renowned Swedish glassworks brand that has been producing high-quality, hand-blown glassware since its founding in 1897. Located in the small village of Skruv in the heart of the Småland region, Skruf represents the enduring tradition of Swedish craftsmanship and the minimalist elegance of Scandinavian design.
