This tote bag is made from 100% raffia and hand crocheted in Madagascar. The construction features a directional stitch pattern that creates a subtle textured surface across the body. Compared to a plain weave structure, the patterned crochet provides added visual depth while maintaining flexibility and durability. The form is wide and stable with a slightly softer structure.

She began her enterprise in 1999. Fibers made and dyed to her specifications in France are shipped to her workshop in Madagascar where they are hand crocheted, knitted and embroidered into unique works of art.
